Jyothi Buddha Prakash assumes charges as Singareni CMD
HYDERABAD
Senior IAS officer Dr. Buddha Prakash Jyothi on Thursday assumed charge as the Chairman and Managing Director of the Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) at the company’s corporate office (Singareni Bhavan) here. He was welcomed by Directors L.V. Suryanarayana (Operations), K. Venkateshwarlu (Projects & Planning), Gowtham Potru (Personnel & Finance), B. Venkanna (Executive Director - Coal Movement) and General Manager (Coordination & Marketing) T.Srinivas. The Directors briefed the CMD on the functioning of Singareni. Dr. Buddha Prakash is an IAS officer of the 2002 batch. He served as the Secretary, Scheduled Castes Development Department, prior to the present. Prior to that he was Secretary in the State Planning Department. He also served as the District Collector of Adilabad and as the ITDA Project Officer in Bhadrachalam.
