"But after working with Kejriwal, I realised that the AAP chief was a double-faced and hypocritical leader," the Bholath MLA said. "Kejriwal supported BJP in destroying the state of Jammu & Kashmir and has always worked against the spirit of federalism. He had an anti-minority mindset that he exhibited by supporting fundamentalist laws like the CAA and UAPA. Congress is the only viable platform," Sukhpal Singh Khaira said.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
