Jharkhand HC postpones RJD chief Lalu Prasad's bail plea hearing by a week

The Jharkhand high court on Friday postponed Lalu Prasad Yadav's bail plea hearing to April 16.

The Jharkhand High Court on Friday postponed bail plea hearing of former Bihar Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad by a week. The bail plea was moved in relation to the fodder scam case. The high court postponed the bail plea to April 16 after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) sought time to file its reply on the matter. The case relates to unlawful withdrawal of Rs 3.13 crore from the Dhumka treasury during the 1990s in Bihar.
