On Monday, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren ordered a high-level probe into the ropeway accident at Deoghar.
Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has ordered a high-level investigation into the ropeway accident at Trikut Pahar close to Baba Baidyanath Temple in Deoghar on Sunday. As many as fourteen people are still stranded after some cable cars on a ropeway collided with each other.
Following the incident, CM Hemant Soren expressed condolences over the incident and ordered a high-level inquiry.
“I express my deepest condolences on the incident on Trikut mountain and the deaths in it. There will be a high level inquiry into the matter,” Hemant Soren tweeted.
On Sunday, some cable cars on a ropeway collided with each other at Trikut Pahar close to Baba Baidyanath Temple in Deoghar. Hundreds of tourists had arrived on Sunday to visit the temple and roam around on the occasion of Ram Navami.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
