
Jawan set to marry killed in Naxal attack in Chhattisgarh

A jawan all set to marry next month was killed in the Naxal attack in Chhattisgarh on April 3. Sakhamuri Murali Krishna, 32 years of age, was from Guntur district in Andhra Pradesh.
Sakhamuri Murali Krishna, a jawan in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), was one of the 22 security personnel who lost their lives in the Naxal attack in Chhattisgarh on April 3. The 32-year-old jawan was all set to get married on May 22. Krishna’s family, settled in Sattenapalle town in Guntur district, received the information of his demise on Sunday night. His parents, Sakhamuri Ravindra and Vijayakumari, were in the midst of making arrangements for his wedding next month when the news came. The parents are now mourning the death of their son.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
