Jammu and Kashmir to provide Covid-19 vaccine free of cost: Guv Manoj Sinha

J&K Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday said all people aged between 18-45 years in the Union Territory will receive free coronavirus vaccines.
Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday announced the J&K government will provide Covid-19 vaccines free of cost to all people aged between 18-45 years during the upcoming phase 3 inoculation drive. The decision was taken during a high-level meeting chaired by the Lt Governor at Raj Bhavan. Chief secretary BVR Subrahmanyam, financial commissioner Arun Kumar Mehta, principal secretary the Governor Nitishwar Kumar, others were present at the meeting. "In J&K, we are committed to provide a coronavirus vaccine free of cost to all the people above the age of 18 years. The government shall bear all the costs of vaccine procurement from the manufacturer," the Lt Governor said in the meeting.More Related News
