Jaish chief Masood Azhar's nephew, involved in Pulwama attack, killed in J&K's Awantipora

Mohammed Ismail Alvi alias Lamboo, the nephew of Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Maulana Masood Azhar, was gunned down by security forces in J&K's Awantipora. Ismail was suspected to be involved in the 2019 Pulwama attack.

In a major success, security forces on Saturday gunned down Mohammed Ismail alias Lamboo, the nephew of Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Maulana Masood Azhar, in an encounter in South Kashmir's Awantipora in Pulwama district. Mohammed Ismail Alvi alias Adnan alias Lambu was an IED Expert and was suspected to be behind the Pulwama attack which had claimed the lives of 40 CRPF personnel in 2019. Ismail was killed along with another terrorist by the security forces.
