
J&K: LeT terrorist killed in encounter with security forces in Baramulla

One Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist has been gunned down by the security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla.
One terrorist was killed in an encounter that started in Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir. The encounter between security forces and terrorists broke out on Saturday night, July 30, in the Binner area.
The killed terrorist has been identified as Irshad Ahmed Bhat of Pattan, Baramulla. He was linked with the terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
“Irshad Ahmed Bhat was active since May 2022 and linked with proscribed terror outfit LeT,” said the J&K Police.

According to the police, one AK rifle, two magazines and 30 rounds have been recovered from the terrorist.
