
J&K govt signs MoU with Apollo hospitals to establish multi-speciality hospital in Jammu

Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha observed this MoU as another major milestone for J&K and said that this venture will not only provide the best healthcare facilities but will also bring huge direct and indirect employment opportunities for the locals.
The Government of Jammu & Kashmir signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the world-renowned healthcare company Apollo Hospitals for the establishment of a multi-speciality hospital in Jammu.
The MoU was signed between Sh. Ranjan Prakash Thakur, Principal Secretary to J&K Government, Industries & Commerce Department and Dr Preetha Reddy, Executive Vice Chairperson, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
