J&K cleric Mirwaiz Umar Farooq placed under house detention again, claims Hurriyat Conference

Kashmir-based All Parties Hurriyat Conference claimed on Friday that its chairman and valley's chief cleric Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has been placed under house detention again, less than 24 hours after being released.

In a statement on Thursday, the Jammu and Kashmir administration had said that Mirwaiz Umar Farooq "is free to move anywhere".
