
ISRO launches GSLV-F10 with Earth Observation Satellite

The Indian Space & Research Organisation (ISRO) launched the Earth Observation Satellite (EOS-03) onboard the GSLV-F10 at 5:45 am on Thursday from Sriharikota.
The Indian Space & Research Organisation (ISRO) launched the GSLV-F10, which is carrying the Earth Observation Satellite (EOS-03), at 5:45 am on Thursday from the second launch pad of the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota. It is the second flight for the Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV) Mk II, which had last blasted off with the ambitious Chandrayaan-2 spacecraft to the Moon.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
