Is Jaaved Jaaferi coming back with Takeshi's Castle 2? Actor answers | Exclusive

In an exclusive interview with IndiaToday.in, Jaaved Jaaferi revealed if he would be back as the Hindi commentator for Takeshi's Castle. Here's what the actor said.

Fans are waiting with bated breath ever since Takeshi's Castle's reboot has been announced. After an official announcement was made, rumours of Jaaved Jaaferi's comeback to the show started doing the rounds. For the unaware, Jaaved Jaaferi entertained everyone as the Hindi commentator of the show. Hence, when IndiaToday.in did an exclusive interview with the actor, we asked him if he would be back as the Hindi commentator for the second season of the game show.

When Jaaved Jaaferi was asked about his comeback to Takeshi's Castle 2, the actor said, "I don't know. I have not been approached. I love that show because it was not any character, it was just me as Jaaved Jaaferi. It was not some character that I was playing. And that's the beauty of what I did. There were so many millions of people who connected and liked what I did. There were like-minded people. As they enjoyed it, I even enjoyed doing it. I would love to do it again."

Now, it remains to be seen whether Jaaferi will return as the Hindi commentator for Takeshi's Castle 2 or not.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Jaaved Jaaferi is gearing up for the release of his show, Escaype Live. The web series will stream on Disney+Hotstar on May 20. It also features Siddharth and Walsucha De Sousa in important roles. In the series, Jaaved will be seen playing the role of Ravi Gupta, the CEO of a social media app. Written by Jaya Mishra and directed by Siddharth Kumar Tewary, Escaype Live is a nine-episode fictional story.
