Industrialist's son thrashes, bites ex-girlfriend in Surat; booked

Surat police have lodged a First Information Report (FIR) against Krunal and the probe is on.

In a bizarre incident, the son of an industrialist was seen thrashing and biting his former partner in Gujarat's Surat. The incident took place on the night of December 26 when the woman, along with her male friend, went to the residence of the accused Krunal Kabutarwala to complain to his family about him.The male friend of the victim complained to Krunal's father that Krunal had been harassing the woman. While the telephonic conversation was going on, Krunal intervened and attacked the woman. He even bit her, police said.When the woman's male friend tried to stop Krunal, guards at the industrialist's residence stopped him. Subsequently, the man filmed the entire episode and went to the police station to lodge a complaint.Surat police have lodged a First Information Report (FIR) against Krunal and the probe is on.Meanwhile, the woman has revealed that she and Krunal were in a relationship in 2018. However, they broke up and now she is in a relationship with her male friend. The woman has alleged that Krunal might attempt to kill or rape her.
