
Indore: Bangle seller from viral video arrested, booked under Pocso Act

A bangle seller, who was beaten up for allegedly touching a girl inappropriately, was arrested by Indore Police. He has been booked under the Pocso Act.
The bangle seller, who was beaten up in Indore a few days back by a group of people for allegedly touching a woman inappropriately and forgery, was arrested. The accused, Taslim Ali, was thrashed on the ground in Govind Nagar area of the city on Sunday for using a fake name while selling bangles. Earlier, four people had been arrested for assaulting the bangle seller.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
