India and the United Kingdom are negotiating a free trade agreement as part of a 2030 roadmap on the countries’ relationship, Indian Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla said on Thursday.
Virtually addressing the India Global Forum, UK 2021, Shringla said, “We are looking forward to an enhanced trade partnership. We are also looking at the first consular dialogue for closer cooperation. Our security and defence cooperation is high on the agenda too.”

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
