India reports 781 cases of Omicron, most cases in Delhi

India reported 781 cases of the Omicron variant of Covid-19 with Delhi recording the most number of cases.

The Omicron cases in India reached 781 on Wednesday with Delhi reporting the maximum number of cases. In the last 24 hours, Delhi reported as many as 238 Omicron cases.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra registered 167 new cases of the Omicron variant. Following the recent surge in cases, most state governments have enforced restrictions including night curfew.
