In a first, women DCPs to head 6 out of 15 police districts in Delhi

After a major rejig in Delhi Police, six out of the 15 police districts will be headed by women DCPs for the first time.

Delhi Police commissioner, Rakesh Asthana, today effected a major reshuffle transferring 11 senior IPS officers of DCP rank to bring more transparency and accountability in the system.
