The India Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for several districts across Telangana. It also predicted heavy to extremely heavy rainfall in isolated places for three days, starting from July 21 till July 23.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for several districts across Telangana for three days, starting from July 21 till July 23. The bulletin predicted heavy to extremely heavy rainfall in isolated places over Kumurambheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Jagtial, Peddapally, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, and Bhadradri Kothagudem districts. It also issued a red alert for these districts.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
