IAF officer charged with rape sent to judicial custody till September 30

An IAF flight lieutenant, who was arrested by Coimbatore Police for allegedly raping a woman officer, has been sent to judicial custody till September 30 by a Mahila Court.

The custody of an Indian Air Force (IAF) flight lieutenant, who was arrested by Coimbatore Police for allegedly raping a woman officer, was extended till September 30 by a Mahila Court on Monday.

The accused officer, who was arrested on Sunday and sent to Udumalaipet sub-jail for a day, was produced before an Additional Mahila Court on Monday.
