After meeting NCB's Sameer Wankhede on Saturday, the vice-chairman of the National Commission for Scheduled Castes said, "I think he is from a scheduled caste."
Sameer Wankhede, zonal director of the Mumbai unit of the Narcotics Control Bureau, met the vice-chairman of the National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) in Mumbai on Saturday and handed over an application to him. Following their meeting, vice-chairman Arun Halder said he thinks Sameer Wankhede is "from a scheduled caste". Arun Halder said, "After listing to his complaint, I think he is from a scheduled caste. He has denied allegations of any religious conversion."
