PDP President Mehbooba Mufti, along with other party leaders, protested outside Raj Bhawan in Srinagar against the killing of civilians in Hyderpora. The PDP leader also demanded an apology from the LG Manoj Sinha and asked for an impartial probe into the Hyderpora incident.
Mufti added that the Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha, should apologise to the families of the persons killed in the Hyderpora encounter as well as to the entire population of the valley.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
