The famed Hyderabadi biryani, which is prepared with dry fruits and a variety of spices, may soon become more expensive. The Taliban have reportedly stopped the movement of cargo through the transit routes of Pakistan. This has led to a spike in prices of dry fruits sold in India, which imports around 85 per cent of its dry fruits from the war-torn country.
