
Hyderabad makes double vaccination mandatory for attending New Year parties

In Hyderabad, only double vaccinated people will be allowed to attend New Year parties. A fine of Rs 1,000 will also be imposed for not wearing a mask in public spaces.
Hyderabad Police Commissioner has issued an advisory for the hotels, clubs and pubs in the city hosting New Year parties on the intervening nights of December 31 and January 1.According to new guidelines, mandatory checking of double dose vaccination certificates will be carried out, and only vaccinated people will be allowed to attend parties.
Besides, no one will be permitted inside the venue without the production of either an electronic or physical certificate of both doses of vaccination. A fine of Rs 1,000 will also be imposed for not wearing a mask in public spaces.
