
Hyderabad gets clearance for second waste-to-energy plant with 28 MW capacity

KT Rama Rao announced that the Union Ministry for Environment and Forests has given clearance for establishment of 28 megawatt waste-to-energy plant in Hyderabad.
Telangana’s Municipal Administration Minister KTR Rao announced that the union ministry for environment and forest has given clearance for 28 MW waste to energy plant in Hyderabad.
The plant would take the total capacity of waste to energy plants in the city to 48 MW, the highest in south India.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
