
Hundreds of tourists stranded near Changu Lake in Sikkim after heavy snowfall; rescue ops underway

Rescue operations are underway as hundreds of tourists are stuck near Changu Lake in Sikkim amid heavy snowfall.
Many tourists were stuck in Nathula in Sikkim due to heavy snowfall. The snowfall started on Saturday afternoon.
Around 1024 tourists were given shelter by the army near Nathula pass. Tourists were also provided food and medical help by the army.
