A patrolling Hoysala police team rescued a businessman who had been abducted by a rowdy sheeter at Hennur on Saturday night. The victim, Irfan Ahmed, from Thanisandra, runs a packing material firm and had been arrested and jailed for 60 days over non-payment of commercial taxes.
