How Syed Ali Shah Geelani at India Today Conclave denied role in exodus of Kashmiri Pandits

Responding to a question at 2011 India Today Conclave, Kashmiri separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani had denied his role in the exodus of Kashmiri Pandit, saying that people were forced to leave as part of a conspiracy.
Syed Ali Shah Geelani, a hardliner Islamist leader who died Wednesday evening at the age of 92, was widely known for his separatist politics and ideology. However, he claimed himself and his organisation to be the torch-bearer of brotherhood. While speaking at the India Today Conclave in 2011, Syed Ali Shah Geelani had spoken about the mass exodus of Kashmiri Pandits, the lives of Ladakhis, Jammu residents and Bakarwals and his relation with Pakistan and another separatist leader Abdul Ghani Lone who was assassinated in 2002.More Related News
