Open manholes and borewells are a hazard and can cause serious accidents.
Monday was a lucky day for Agra's Chhotelal, whose three-year-old son Shiva was safely rescued from a 150-feet-deep borewell by the Indian Army. It was the local administration that first sought help from the nearby parachute regiment of the Indian Army. A team of the NDRF was also dispatched from Ghaziabad to assist in the rescue operation. Shiva was finally rescued after an eight-hour-long operation in Agra's Dhariyai village.More Related News
