
Honeytrap gang busted in Gurugram; three transgenders held for blackmailing MNC executives

The gang reportedly lured and extorted money from the MNC executives by threatening to implicate them in false rape cases.
Police arrested three transgenders for allegedly luring and extorting several MNC executives in National Capital Region (NCR) after befriending them on social media. According to police, the gang reportedly honey-trapped executives and arrests were made from different parts of the city and Delhi.
The gang used to extort lakhs of money from the victims by threatening to implicate them in false rape cases, reported the Times of India (TOI).

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
