Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist encountered by J&K Police in Kulgam’s Khandipora

One terrorist belonging to Hizbul Mujahideen was killed in an encounter by the Jammu & Kashmir Police on Saturday. Police suspect that another militant is still trapped in the area.
Jammu & Kashmir Police killed one terrorist belonging to the Hizbul Mujahideen in an encounter in Kulgam district’s Khandipora area on Saturday, June 11. Kashmir Police believe that one more militant is trapped.
The encounter started in the Khandipora area of Kulgam around midnight on Saturday. The operation is being conducted barely 2 km from Gopalpora, the place where a female government teacher was shot dead on May 31.
The deceased, Rajni Bala, lived in Samba in the Jammu division with her husband and daughter.
