
Himachal Pradesh flash floods: 6 bodies recovered, 5 missing people presumed dead

After the flash floods in Himachal Pradesh on Monday, six bodies have been recovered by rescue teams. Another five who remain missing have been presumed dead by the local administration.
Since the flash floods in Himachal Pradesh on Monday, rescue teams have recovered six bodies. Of these, four including two men, a woman and a child were recovered from the debris in Boh village in Kangra district on Tuesday. The body of missing Punjabi Sufi singer Manmeet Singh was recovered from a rivulet near Kareri village on Tuesday and that of a 19-year-old girl who was reported missing from Nagrota Bagwan area on Monday was also found.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
