Producer Matthew Koma edited his way into the story.
Hilary Duff’s husband, producer Matthew Koma, is wading into the “toxic mom group” drama that’s taken the internet by storm.
The controversy reared its head last week when former “High School Musical” star Ashley Tisdale published a damning essay for The Cut called “Breaking Up With My Toxic Mom Group.”
Many on the internet speculated that Tisdale was referring to a mom group that included other celebrities, including Mandy Moore, Meghan Trainor and Hilary Duff.
Though a rep for Tisdale told TMZ on Monday that Tisdale’s essay wasn’t referencing that particular mom group, Duff’s husband added some fuel to the fire with a pointed Instagram story on Tuesday.
The producer superimposed his head over the photo of Tisdale used by The Cut to promote her essay, and changed the title to say “When You’re The Most Self-Obsessed Tone Deaf Person On Earth, Other Moms Tend To Shift Focus To Their Actual Toddlers.”
