Heavy rains, wind gusts likely to hit coastal districts till May 22

IMD predicts heavy rain and thunder showers with gusty winds in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, and Uttara Kannada districts.

India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Sunday that heavy rain/thunder showers are likely to occur at a few places and moderate rain/thunder showers are likely to occur at most places over Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Uttara Kannada districts on May 19.

The IMD said extremely heavy rain/thundershowers with gusty winds (30-40 kmph) are likely to occur at a few places on May 20, and heavy to very heavy rain/thundershowers are likely to occur at most places over Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, and Uttara Kannada districts.

The IMD said heavy to very heavy rain/thundershowers with gusty winds (30-40 kmph) are likely to occur at a few places on May 21 and moderate rain/thundershowers with gusty winds (30-40 kmph) are likely to occur at most places over Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, and Uttara Kannada districts.
