The Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court has disposed of a petition that sought a direction to the State to distribute free laptops to the students of Class XII of the 2017-18 batch. The Bench said it was the matter of policy of the government. The court was hearing the public interest litigation petition filed by Kaudeen of Pudukkottai district.
