
Gurugram Municipal Corporation commences road repair work under beautification project

The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) has initiated the repair work on internal roads under the beautification project of the city.
In a bid to meet the November 15 deadline set by the municipal commissioner to fix roads across the city, the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) on Friday started the repair work on internal roads in Sectors 4 and 10. The MCG chief directed officials to make the city road pothole-free latest by November 15, reported the Times of India (TOI).
The repair work has been initiated under the beautification project of the city and the MCG officials were asked to repair roads, dividers, footpaths, walkways and tiles of parks. The officials have been tasked to clear the waste of plant saplings and horticulture.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
