GTD visits houses gutted in accidental fire

MLA G.T. Deve Gowda visits fire-affected families in Bore Anandur village, provides compensation and promises further government support.
MLA for Chamundeshwari and former Minister G.T. Deve Gowda on Sunday visited Bore Anandur village in Mysuru, where three houses were gutted in an accidental fire on Saturday.
Mr. Gowda, who was in the village early on Sunday, visited the houses of Shanivare Gowda, Venkatesh Gowda, and Srinivas Gowda, who had lost all their belongings, including foodgrains and household utensils, in the fire.
Bore Anandur village in Mysuru taluk is part of Chamundeshwari Assembly constituency, which Mr. Gowda represents.
After giving each family a compensation of ₹1 lakh in his personal capacity, Mr. Gowda asked the officials of the revenue department and Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Company to conduct an inspection and submit a report so that he can take up with the government for suitable compensation to the families.

The Shakespeare Millennium Club in collaboration with the Annai Velankanni Church (Society of St. Vincent De Paul), conducted a Free Medical Camp on November 23, 2025 at the church premises from 9 am to 6 pm, with Dr. Samundi Sankari and Dr. Divya Sivaraman of Srushti Hospitals, Dr. Sharada L N of Aramba, the Kumaran Dental Clinic, Lychee and Satya Physiotherapy Centre, according to a press release.
