Governor R.N. Ravi offered worship at the Srirangam Sri Ranganathaswamy temple and at the Arulmigu Jambukeswarar Akilandeswari temple at Tiruvanaikoil here on Thursday evening.
The Governor, accompanied by his wife Laxmi Ravi, at first visited the Sri Ranganathaswamy temple where they were received with a poorna kumbha mariyadhai at the Ranga Ranga gopuram. Mr. Ravi prayed to Lord Ranganatha at the sanctum sanctorum and also to ‘Sri Ranganayaki Thayar’.
The Governor then proceeded to Arulmigu Jambukeswarar Akilandeswari temple at Tiruvanaikoil where he was received at the temple’s western entrance with poorna kumbha mariyadhai. The Governor and his wife offered worship at the Swami sannidhi and at the Ambal Sannidhi.
