Gov. Newsom Mocks Trump For Making An Easily Debunked Claim About California

Trump made the eyebrow-raising claim during his Christmas reception.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) is calling out President Donald Trump again for spreading misinformation.
On Sunday, Trump doubled back on his repeated, false claims about rigged elections, claiming this time that he would’ve won California in the 2024 presidential election if he hadn’t been cheated by the Democratic party.
The president made the comments while delivering remarks at a White House Christmas reception.
“If the vote in California was legitimate, which it’s not. If 38 million ballots … Everything is mail-in voting. They mail out 38 million ballots and they come in — where the hell do they go and where do they come from?” he asked the crowd.
The right-wing leader continued, “It’s a rigged election in California because we would win California by a lot. And again, they feel they have the advantage with the Hispanic, they don’t because I won the Hispanic vote.”
