“Gone Girl” actress Lisa Banes, who died this week after being injured in a hit-and-run scooter accident on a trip to New York City, was remembered Tuesday on both coasts as an “indomitable” spirit with “unwavering kindness.”
Banes, 65 — a Los Angeles resident who appeared in numerous movies, TV shows and theater productions, including roles on “Nashville” and “Madam Secretary” — succumbed to a traumatic brain injury on Monday. “Her stage presence, magnetism, skill and talent were matched only by her unwavering kindness and graciousness toward all of us. A tremendous loss…,” actor Seth McFarlane, who worked alongside Banes on his television series “The Orville,” wrote on Twitter.More Related News
