Gangster CD Mani was arrested on Tuesday after he tried to escape by firing at a sub-inspector and jumping from a bridge in Porur.

Gangster CD Mani was arrested on Tuesday after a dramatic chase when he tried to escape after firing at the police and jumped from a bridge in Porur, Tamil Nadu. CD Mani was caught by police near outer ring road around 2pm in Porur. Police informed that CD Mani, who has been involved in several kidnapping cases, 10 murder cases and 22 extortion cases, attempted to escape by shooting at Sub-Inspector Balakrishnan who sustained injuries on his shoulder.
