G. Priyanka took over as the District Collector of Palakkad in Kerala on Wednesday (February 5, 2025), replacing Chithra S.
An officer from the 2017 IAS batch, Ms. Priyanka hails from Karnataka and previously served as the director of the Social Justice department in Kerala.
Shortly after assuming office, Ms. Priyanka expressed her enthusiasm to drive Palakkad’s growth in agriculture, industry and tourism. An engineering graduate in Electronics and Communication, Ms. Priyanka also holds a postgraduate degree in public management and public administration.
