G-23 cannot exist in any party except the Congress, says Rahul Gandhi

NEW DELHI Making his first public comments on the Group of 23 dissenters (G-23), former Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday asserted that such a group cannot exist in any other political party except the Congress.
In a virtual conversation with the faculty and students of US-based Brown University, moderated by of Professor Ashutosh Varshney, Mr Gandhi spoke on a range of issues including a question on whether it was time for the Gandhi family to step aside from the leadership position. In 2021, five women from Mayithara, four of them MGNREGA (Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act) workers, found a common ground in their desire to create a sustainable livelihood by growing vegetables. Rajamma M., Mary Varkey, Valsala L., Elisho S., and Praseeda Sumesh, aged between 70 and 39, pooled their savings, rented a piece of land and began their collective vegetable farming journey under the Deepam Krishi group.
