'Fox & Friends' Gives Trump Radical Advice In 'Late Show' Tomfoolery
HuffPost
Stephen Colbert's crew mocked the suspect coincidence of Fox News telling Trump to send Tom Homan to Minneapolis, only for the president to do so a short time later.
One piece of Fox News advice to President Donald Trump deserved another in a spoof from “The Late Show” on Tuesday. (Watch the video below.)
Earlier this week CNN noticed that host Brian Kilmeade on “Fox & Friends” advised Trump to send border czar Tom Homan to Minneapolis to oversee federal officers after two protesters were killed by them this month. Twenty minutes later on Monday, that’s exactly what Trump did, according to CNN.
So host Stephen Colbert’s staff imagined Kilmeade counseling the president on another matter.
“And now, another important message from Fox News to President Trump...” a narrator said. Then Kilmeade spoke in pieced-together soundbites that formed the sentences, “The president should resign and go back to school for dance” and “The president should retire retire retire retire because he he he lost all his marbles.”
No doubt many of the president’s critics are waiting for Trump to heed that recommendation as well.
