Four family members including two children found murdered in Ahmedabad, father absconding

Four family including two small children were found murdered inside their house by neighbours. Police have declared the children's father as the prime suspect in the case.

Four family members including two small children were found murdered inside their house in Ahmedabad. The police found the bodies on Tuesday and declared the children's father as the prime suspect of the murders.

According to the cops, the murders might have taken place around four days back. They were called by the neighbours who were suspicious of the foul smell coming from the house.

The incident happened in the Virat Nagar area of Ahmedabad. The Odhav police along with the Ahmedabad crime branch is investigating the murders. The father has been declared as a wanted criminal by the police.

The bodies belonged to Sonal, her mother Subhadra and the two children Ganesh and Pragati. The family had shifted to Virat Nagar just 15 days back. Vinod who is the prime suspect in the case is Sonal's husband.

According to Ahmedabad police officials, the bodies were found in different rooms of the house. The children were found together in a room while those of Sonal and her mother were found in another. All the bodies were taken to the local hospital for a post mortem. Police officials said the bodies were repeatedly stabbed by a sharp object.
