
Four children die in Bihar's Darbhanga Medical College in last 24 hours

Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital, which is the second biggest hospital in north Bihar, was recently in news over its crumbling infrastructure.
At least four children have died in the last 24 hours in Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) in Bihar, news agency ANI reported. DMCH, which is the second biggest hospital in north Bihar, was recently in news over its crumbling infrastructure. India Today had reported that the hospital authorities were putting patients' lives at risk by treating them in a building on the verge of collapse. The patients were later shifted to another facility.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
