Five-year-old survivor of Italy cable car crash asks for dead parents
NY Post
The five-year-old who was the sole survivor of a cable car crash in the Italian Alps that killed 14, including five of his immediate family members, woke up in an Italian hospital asking “Where’s mom and dad?”
It’s not clear if Eitan Biran, who made it out alive when the cable car plunged 20 feet into the side of a mountain near Lake Maggiore in northern Italy last week, knows that his parents, two-year-old brother and great grandparents are dead. The child, who escaped with multiple broken bones, was saved by the embrace of his father, who died when the gondola crashed to the ground, a hospital spokesperson said, according to the Times of Israel.More Related News
