
Firecracker godown explodes in Andhra’s Anakapalli, 4 critical

Four workers were admitted to a hospital in critical condition after they were injured in an explosion at a firecracker godown in Andhra Pradesh's Anakapalli district on Tuesday.
Four people were seriously injured when a firecracker godown exploded near Chinna Yata Palem of Aripaka Panchayat in Andhra Pradesh’s Anakapalli district on Tuesday morning.
The locals rushed the injured victims to the hospital. The four injured people are reportedly in critical condition.
According to the locals, the four men were cooking in the morning when a fire broke out in the fireworks godown. The injured were identified as Shankar Rao (48), Kamalamma (38), Mahesh and Prasad.
Sabbavaram Police is conducting further investigations.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
