Three masked men brutally murdered TVR Manohar, a financier, at his office in Tamil Nadu’s Nagapattinam district on Wednesday night. They also injured another employee, who had been admitted to the ICU.

TVR Manohar, a financier from Velankanni town in Tamil Nadu’s Nagapattinam district, was hacked to death by three unknown miscreants. He was killed inside his office on Wednesday, August 17, at 9.30 pm.

The incident was recorded on a CCTV camera installed in his office. Indiatoday is not displaying the video due to its gory and graphic content.

In the CCTV visuals, the victim, Manohar, can be seen counting cash while sitting on a chair in his office. Suddenly, unidentified miscreants barge into the office space and try to hack Manohar with machetes. Manohar, who was initially able to fend off the attack, was eventually overpowered by the three men and brutally hacked to death inside his office.

The three men aggressively hacked at Manohar, who was lying on the floor of the office, and fled the spot. The victim died on the spot.

Another individual was also present in the office at the time of the incident. The man, identified as Manivel, was also beaten up by the assailants when he tried to prevent the attack on Manohar. Manivel, who was also injured in the incident, was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Nagai Government Hospital.

Meanwhile, three separate teams have been formed under the leadership of the Nagapattinam District Superintendent of Police to catch the criminals involved in the brutal killing of TVR Manohar.

Officials are in the process of trying to identify the miscreants. All three of them had covered their faces with masks.
