Fearing family’s disapproval, couple in Telangana kill self

The police who were investigating found a note saying that the couple took the extreme step as they feared their families would not accept their relationship.

Two pharmacy students died by hanging from a tree in Telangana’s Sangareddy town on Monday. They took this extreme step fearing that their families would not accept their love.

The deceased were identified as Bygari Shiva (22), a native of Vikarabad district, and 20-year-old Boggula Amrutha of Sangareddy.
