
Father, son found dead in house in Jamshedpur

A 70-year-old father and his son were found dead inside their residence in the Gandhinagar area of Jamshedpur.
A 70-year-old father and his son were found dead inside their residence in the Gandhinagar area of Jamshedpur.
Based on a neighbour's complaint, the Bagbera police found the bodies from the house and sent them for post-mortem. The son had injury marks on his neck.
The deceased were identified as Sushil Mahanti and his 40-year-old son Raju Mahanti.
During the investigation, it was revealed that they worked as labours and were alcoholics.
Police said that there is a possibility of death due to the consumption of spurious liquor, but the reason behind the death will be ascertained after the post-mortem. Further investigations are on.
